How To Help

Volunteer

We are always looking for volunteers to aid in the search for lost pets in the area. There are a variety of different tasks you can sign up for like posting flyers or physically searching for the pets in a designated area.

Volunteers are encouraged to take an 8-week

Lost Pet Recovery Training course hosted by the

Missing Animal Response Network

Cost:

$300 per person with a minimum Group of 4 registrations through CdE Scent Detection Dogs.

We are currently seeking a grant to pay for this training.

Train Your Dog

You and your dog can become a part of our team!

Training a Missing Pet Trailing Dog takes

a huge time and financial commitment. Training is offered in 10-week increments with the goal of having your dog mission-ready in a minimum of 18 months.

CdE Scent Detection Dogs is proud to announce it has partnered with the Finding Feather Foundation in support of the agency's shared mission of reuniting pet owners with their lost pets.

The Finding Feather Foundation has established a financial assistance scholarship to help pet owners with limited resources recover their lost pets.

Donations are always accepted to help those in need who cannot afford to hire one of our scent-detection dogs. We never want to be in a situation where we

have to turn someone away from this service due to financial constraints.
